it doesnt matter how many times texas fans try to argue this. Its no different than when an extra second was added to the clock for them.

I went to both schools, genius. By the rule book definition, it was not targeting.

Thats funny. Openly ignoring the rules, but arguing a non call. Basically you don’t care if it was correctly called, you just want to sport to be softer.

Texastrix will always have a shite stain from this game.

Love the receipts on X lol. Texastrix will always be known as needing refs to aid them

Started with this:

jagercrombie
@Jertriot
3 times in the last 4 games Texas has committed textbook targeting…

3 times it could have cost Texas a playoff spot

All 3 overturned.

We don’t care about player safety we care about TV ratings, fine but be transparent about it.

Then a texastrix fan replied with this:

Hunter
@HookEm_Hunter
little bro mad his team sucks

I'm old school and hate this rule, but it is a rule, so it needs to be enforced consistently, especially when they've reviewed it. We've all seen players get ejected for much less

You don’t understand the rule.

Note 1. 3rd * is the indicator.

Looks like a form tackle.

You don’t know form tackling either. No one is taught to do helmet to helmet hits on defenseless wrs. In fact, players are taught to not do what he did.

He could have tried a legal form tackle.

Go lower, head to the side.

Head is up, wraps their arms around the carrier to make sure they are brought down. Very textbook. It's not his fault the receiver started to sink their hips to make a move. Also once the receiver turns up field, they're no longer defenseless.

You're right. They clearly tried to take Bond's head off and should have been called. Great point.

This isn’t true. A player who can’t defend themselves is defenseless.

In college football, a receiver becomes a "runner" after a catch once they have secured control of the ball and taken a clear action towards gaining additional yardage, like turning upfield, taking a step forward, or attempting to evade a defender, signifying that they are no longer in the act of catching the ball and are now actively trying to advance the play.

Actions after the catch prove you're wrong, but please keep going.
