Been to South Lousiana once in my life. That was for the Sugar Bowl. Two smells i noticed. The smell of rotting feces when i crossed Lake Pontchartrain and the smell of corn dogs when i got into New Orleans.
Well let's hope you never have to go back. With Arkansas' SEC history, you, probably won't have to. The one time the Hogs got there, they embarrassed the conference. BTW, corndogs smell a lot better than hogs.

Yet it makes other fan bases laugh, and it rustles up LSU fans jimmies. Purpose of joke accomplished, must be a good joke.
Doesn't bother me. When I cook I usually smell like sautéed onions, celery, bell pepper and garlic.
It's a weak joke especially with all the delicious food that's prepared at an LSU tailgate.

I might get mad at this crappy joke getting rehashed year after year if corn dogs weren't the frickING TITS.

Its sad that a corn dog does not know the difference between sense of smell and emotion. There is no smell in losing. There is the emotion of sadness in losing though
This is where you are wrong. Fans of the upper tier SEC teams can smell the stink of loserdom on fans of second tier teams. You wouldn't know what the smell of mediocrity is since it's probably been hanging around arkansas' fans since they joined the SEC back in 92.
As far as it upsetting LSU fans...well I think it's quite the opposite. After defeating Miss State back in 09 I took pitty on some Miss State frat boys and posed with them for a picture while holding a corndog. It was the nicest thing I could do. They needed cheering up after having lost to us for the fifty-billionth time.
I go along with the corndog thing because it makes the losers of our league happy.I'm still waiting to see that picture of me with 2 MSU frat guys and a corndog pop up on the internet.

ETA: I don't get why there would be "shame" for eating a corndog
I don't eat them but i don't get it either! Is it shameful to eat a hotdog too because i do eat one every once in a while. Shame on me

A) corndogs are delicious.
B) I've never had a gameday corndog. must be an LSU thing.

That's what I'm saying. If more than 10% of the fan base knew about it, then maybe it could be an LSU thing. I wouldn't mind eating a game day corndog.
