Where is out of the blue from. Wasn't he a track star? Hasn't he been working with our S&C Coach. Athletes can improve their speed and strength. Not too far fetched and really not worth getting all jacked about what Auburn posters think.

It's not out of the blue, but I agree. I think he's somewhere in the 4.3 range, possibly 4.2.
ESPN put a clock on his TD run at A-Day. He was already wound up. In pads, he ran the last 45 yards in 4.02 seconds.

I can see 4.3 but 4.18 is just out there. Track guys generally don't do a lot of weight lifting or football associated training. Again the guy has wheels on him but that timing just seems out of place. If he can do that, he should smoke track in the SEC.

No one gives 2 shits about track in the SEC except for Upig.

I'm not here to argue about anything, but you posted pictures of two true freshmen and a guy with a torn knee ligament...
Still wouldn't want Corey Grant at corner for us. We already have one Cyrus Jones. Don't need another.

He is not a cornerback, just like TJ Yeldon is not a safety.

I find it hilarious all these auburn fans posting pictures of a 4.18 on a clock like that is proof of anything
Woahmahgawd guys I just ran a 4.10 in the parking lot loooooook!

Really?!
I was commenting to the person who said we would need that corner depth and saying dr has a lot more potential on campus.

I don't think you get my point. Anyways, I'm going to watch some more racism in the other thread.

Pretty sure zero Auburn fans posted a picture of a clock

It's probably 4.31, 4.35 - 7 at the slowest

Looks very fast from the video that was posted. Does he play special teams?

never understood Grant going to Bama, he`s tailor made for the Malzahn system, some players just don`t fit, and that was a square peg in a round hole. Where as i fully get a Rashaan Evans or Daron Payne thinking Bama is a good or better choice for their future career…and yeah he`s fast.

Sammie Coates, Corey Grant and Robenson Therezie can fly, though.
A lot of players say Jonothon Jones is the fastest guy on the team. Minus Grant of course

I just sat here and "hand timed" it probably 20 time and never got anything higher than a 4.21.... that motherfricker can move. When he broke the 59 yard td in the spring game my first thought was he is faster than he was last year! Im just glad he would only be 4th string at Bama! Lmfao!

Found this table of fastest 40 times at the combine since using electronic timing:
Will Corey Grant break the fastest time at 4.24? It's possible, but I have my doubts.
