Easier to give it to an offensive player but the pick six create an avalanche that the Chiefs couldn’t recover from. Woke NFL at it again

Dude made a great play. Mahomes also didn’t even see him standing there.

Ok. Glad you’ve now gotten this off your chest after stewing on it for 36 hours.

If anything the award should have been given to the entire defense. They OWNED the chiefs.

MVP should have gone to the eagles dline, they won that game. They kept the chiefs offense off the field.

Nah, if a defensive guy was going to get it, it should have been Sweat. He jumped off the tv screen all night long and dominated.

The avalanche that hit Mahomes and the Chiefs was the defensive line. DeJean and Zac Baun, who also had a big pick, were able to jump passes because Jalen Carter and Sweat and Smith and Davis were terrorizing Mahomes without blitzing.

That said, Jalen Hurts is and was the MVP of that game. ROLL TIDE!!

Sorry, is your conspiracy that because he's a white DB, he didn't get the Super Bowl MVP or just because he's a DB?

I’d agree with that. Sweat went into beast mode that game. He deserved it over the tired old trope about the QB on the winning team

Yeah, in superbowl Xll Harvey Martin & Randy White were named mvps as it should have been. That type of recognition isn’t given out anymore…
