of course he would, and unless fournette gets hurt he'll surpass 200 yards by the end of september based on volume of carries alone. even if he struggles, he'll more than double 200 yards by october. weak troll is weak

Cooper - claimed to be best WR in the SEC and an early first round NFL pick.
Define letdown. He won't be winning any major awards, we have too many other weapons.
quote:
Coker - Wont miss a beat coming in for AJ. Bama will still win 11-12 regular season games.
If he starts, he'll succeed. He certainly won't be a Heisman candidate, but with all the talent on offense, we'd have to be deliberately holding him back for him to not get something like 210 passing yards per game.
quote:
Fournette - Will start the season getting a share of the carries but by game 3 will be handling the workload and be a Heisman candidate next year and Freshman of the year this year.
For me it's only a let down if he averages under 6 YPC. I don't look for a certain total yardage number with him. That OL will be top 5 in the country in run blocking. He should average at least 6 YPC behind it with his talent.
quote:
Bo - Will be the best QB in the SEC. Will lead Ole Miss to 9+ wins (the majority of Ole Miss predictions)
I don't think he'll be a letdown for Ole Miss. He won't be one of the best in CFB, but he'll be good enough to win them 9+ games.

That's why he should've gone to Bama.

you are out of your mind to expect that from a TF. Especially on a team that defenses will be stacking 8 in the box on.

Gurley, Marshall, and Yeldon all did it as TF runners in 2012. Now I did forget that defenses will stack the box against LSU, so that was more bad. But I still think 6 is a fair spot for him in today's CFB. And I'd count 5.95 as 6 YPC anyway, rounding up. He's got a lot of talent and a dominate run blocking line in front of him.
Maybe 5.5 is a more realistic expectation, but the kid has all the talent in the world, and I think higher YPCs are becoming more frequent for young guys.

if LF averages 6 ypc, then this offense is going to be nasty.
I don't see it though…just saying. I guess maybe if we manage to get some good QB play, and can keep defenses honest, then it'll open it up.
Then again he could just plain go the frick off on the Sam Houston States of CFB, and pad those stats.

Keep in mind 2 of these 3 had really good QB play to help them out.

I do agree with this though.

Kyle Allen is the correct answer here.

I predict coker will not be the starter.

UA's offensive line will make it hard for him to adjust early

From the OP, Wallace is the only one that won't meet expectations. He's just a less cool Stephen Garcia.

I didn't bet on them not being good. I said UA will have growing pains. Hell, you guys had them last year. Throw in a new scheme, and it's bound to be a struggle early on. Running plays in practice is light-years away from talking during a game, recognizing stunts and blitzes.

You're on a role thus far today.
Keep up the good work.

So you're telling me blocking schemes aren't going to change under a new OC? Not the norm, but I'll take your word for it.
