And this would be a poverty and tragedy. I don't disagree but this is what everyone wanted after we beat that arse in 2011 NCG.
It didn’t matter who won that game. It was the simple fact that two SEC teams were playing for the NC is why people pushed for the playoff. But yeah, you still whipped our arse.

Ok I take it you won’t watch next year when LSU makes the playoffs at 8-4.
May as well watch the playoffs when wins and losses matter. Spend time and money doing other stuff from September to Thanksgiving since nothing that happens on a Fall Saturday on the football field really matters.

Why care about 5-0 Notre Dame vs 5-0 BYU in week 6 when it doesn’t really matter who wins because they’ll both be in the CFP regardless. Only difference it makes is who gets a first round bye and who gets to play a 22-24 seed in the first round as a 3 score favorite

Totally agree. It's gonna suck. IDK be like NFL on games that don't matter.

When 70,000 stop showing up to watch a regular season Bama-UGA or Florida- Tennessee type game then some of you will have a point. But so far, we’ve seen fans flocking to stadiums in September and October to watch meaningless games. And we already know they will flock to playoff games so most of the arguments against a bigger playoff are already proven false.
