I know it was empty a few times this season. It pisses a lot of people off.

Yeah, but this dude is talking about before the expansion.

I don't know man, I rarely even see that section empty. I will say that the last time we beat the shite out of UT in BDS, that game was at 11am if I remember correctly, and me and everyone I know got fricked up until about 7am that Friday night. Probably explains why you saw some empty seats.
I'm sure you're talking about the 12 to 10 game in 2009.
I'm sure you were shitting your pants that game as we lined up for the game winning field goal with .04 left on the clock.
THAT time you "beat the shite out" of us?
2 points and by the way, we didn't let you in the enzone that game.

quote:. Bleacher seating isn't the issue, it's the spacing. If BDS narrowed the aisles and renumbered the seats to the width at neyland, we could probably hold 120,000.
You realize BDS has blecher seating also, as does a great majority of all college football stadiums.
Neyland is big and loud and has a pretty setting, but it's still a sardine can.

Bama once had the ugliest and one of the smallest stadiums in the SEC.
Alabama has never had one of the smallest, we just fell behind in the facility race in the 90s. But things are very different now. Alabama has raised the bar once again in terms of facilities.

We are only one of I believe two college stadiums set on a river.
TS is kinda set on the Miss River..you can see it from the upper eastside deck.....

LSU has the sweetest suites. All the other stadiums have the suites totally glassed in (thanks to all you frickin Alabama Baptists) expect for Tiger stadium. Since the upper decks are a separate building and not part to the rest of the stadium (go to the top level of the lower bowl ant there is about a 3 inch separation) Alcoholic beverages can be consumed outside. I stopped sitting in away game suites because it was like sitting in your living room watching the game in the backyard

yeah, uhh no. I said "the last time we beat the shite out UT" which means its wasnt that game Einstein.

Yeah, I think every Alabama fan was. And it was followed by the most incredible explosion of awesomeness that I've ever been apart of.

no, not THAT time. Do you know what the term "beat the shite out of" means? It means 41-17.

:moralvictory: cool dude
but if you are trying to say that the '09 game was only 40% full in the student section, then you are lying straight through whatever teeth you may have. It was packed tight.

Actually he's talking about the time we prison raped your worthless school 41-17 with 5 players suspended.
I realize it might be difficult to figure out which victory over the vols he's talking about because let's face it, you are literally our bitch.
Now stfu before I get Terrance Cody to bitch slap your arse like he did two years ago

Don't worry, we are very disappointed each time we go to BDS too. Its always funny to see the bare student section filled to about 40% capacity. Yet, your fan base continues to boast the stadium has had been filled every game back to 1988...
Every game has sold out since 1988. I've never seen the student section at 40% capacity, but your use of hyperbole is duly noted. I wouldn't be surprised though: some of the students don't show up to big games, so any game against Tennessee is bound to be at less than capacity.

Neyland stadium was not, i went in 04
Of course it wasnt loud. Losing by 30 in the third quarter will suck the noise out of a place.

I went to the Tennessee-Oregon game this past year. They aren't lying Tennessee fans, it is pretty uncomfortable and cramped.

Tiger Stadium looks like a dump. I had to live in that dump for one semester while they were fixing the air conditioning system at Kirby Smith. I really can't figure out how I lived from August to December without AC. I met numerous foreign students and was introduced to their cultural ways. There is no way in hell that I would eat anything from the Middle East. The Cubans on our floor had the best food plus they were clean. I lived in the stadium for the first semester in '68 and my Cuban neighbors told us how they had to escape during the revelution.
Pansy much?

I'm going to Neyland next year for the LSU game. Hope it's not as cramped as everyone says it is.

You'll be fine then. Its definitely tight, but I'm 5'11'' 170lbs and have never had my gameday experience be ruined because of being too "cramped". I do feel sorry for fat people at Neyland, they sould have to buy two seats.
