I never thought one was cooler than the other. All of the stadiums I have been to have felt about the same temperature.

8. USC
9. (Everyone else)
Having UT at 7 is mildly retarded.
You must not have ever made a trip to Knoxville.
There has been million$ put into renovations over the last several years.
We are only one of I believe two college stadiums set on a river.
The Vol Navy is one of the coolest things in college football. If you have never went by boat, nor tailgated on the boats, you have missed out.
Everyone's definition of "coolest" will certainly be subjective, but UT is one of the top 10 stadiums in the country, and far better than 7th in the SEC.
Carry on.

Pretty good list, but I'd change it up a little. I've been to all 12, my rankings would be
1. Bama
2. UGA
3. UT
4. Arkansas
5. UF
6. Auburn
7. LSU
8. Ole Miss
9. MSU
10. South Carolina
11. KEntucky

LSU you're delusional if you think anyone finds your stadium to be cool. Intimidating =/= cool. Now it may be debatable to which is more important, but they aren't the same thing.

LSU is considering adding club seats, suites or an upper deck, or a combination of those elements.
Since the east upper deck and its 70 skyboxes were added to Tiger Stadium in 2000, none of their owners have allowed their leases to expire.
There has been little turnover since LSU added 3,255 club seats in the rebuilt west upper deck in 2005, Vincent said.

Yes, I've been to all three.
The order is subject to change on any given night IMHO.

It's a nice-looking stadium, and everything else you mentioned is cool as well.
Problem is, it's hands down the most uncomfortable stadium to sit in that I've ever been to. And nothing else is close, either.

2 things about beauty
1) it is in the eye of the beholder
2) its whats inside that counts
to me TS has 10000x more character than any stadium, and inside it is the greatest place in the word. There should be no was to be objective about this.

I haven't been to Arkansas and Kentucky. Out of the other ten I have been two, UGA is my favorite. I am going to hit up one of my buddies and try to go to a Bama game next year to see the new renovations, the last time I was there was back in 2000.
I thought the most overhyped was/were the Swamp and Tiger Stadium. I thought both of them were pretty run down but granted I haven't been to either since the 90s.

Definitely go and see one at BDS. I unfortunately haven't been able to go to a big game at it(college student. Broke as hell). Went to the Georgia State game though

Obviously a MAJORITY of posters in this thread have not been to Neyland since the renovations this year. It is by far and away one of the premier stadiums in the country.
The pictures are great, but do absolutely no justice to seeing it in person.

And it's still an extremely uncomfortable stadium to watch a game in
Posted on 1/23/11 at 11:48 am to PrideOfTheSouthland
Problem is, only a third of the stadium is like that, when the other two thirds exterior and concourses are done like that in the next 8-10 years it will be the best in the league.
The concourses on two of the sides are like stepping back in to the 30s.

You realize BDS has blecher seating also, as does a great majority of all college football stadiums. If you think BDS has more comfortable seating, you're saddly mistaken and it proves your bias.

TS and BHGS are old and nasty and run down. But they are loud. Ive been to way more games in JHS and it seems just as loud if not louder. but honestly u cant tell. they are all loud, and i bet BDS is to. Neyland stadium was not, i went in 04 and we were raping so that coulda been why
Edit: TS and the Swamp are VERY overrated and overhyped. Still good stadiums
