Cool animation that shows the shifting AP poll appearances of cfb teams from 1936-2020.

Not gonna lie, I'm surprised with some of the teams on there at the end. Washington?

That is cool. Thank goodness the AP was far from being the only pollster.

Man, LSU must have made one hell of a run since 2000 to make it all the way up to number 10 in 20 years.

Notre Dame took serious advantage of the bias they've enjoyed for most of the existence of college football.

Yeah I dont know if Washington used to be similar to like a Miami in success or if they just consistently clocked in at the lower half of the AP so many times that it accumulated.

Boring, irrelevant and meaningless.

Georgia's in the middle of it. LSU and Florida are barely out of the middle and Bama is not too far ahead. Means zero to anyone today.

Watch the Tennessee drop after 2007.

Why is Georgia angry? What's happening?

Probably because they only have 1 AP title.

LSU at the top in the 30's and again in the new millennium.

So we're Old Money and a top 10 program. I'll take it.

Bro, Washington has 745 wins, good for 18th all time and more than Florida and Arkansas.

Also, Ole Miss was in the top ten as of 1970

We should be passing them this year.

I'd say it's pretty clear LSU is either the ninth or tenth best program in CFB history at this point.

They're definitely after Bama, Southern Cal, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame.
It's either LSU or Penn State at #9 and #10.

You're going to have to win at least 10 or 11 to do that.
