Bama won’t be in because they have 2 losses by a total 4 points. Tennessee has two losses by a much larger margin. OSU WITH 1 loss has wider margin than Bama with two losses.
If you watched both Bama losses, Bama looked horrible. It’s wins and losses that matter. Not eye test and type of loss. Just wonder on neutral field, 6 weeks to prepare, would Vegas have Bama the underdog to any of the teams above them. Maybe Georgia but it would be 7 or less.
Can’t wait for the 12 Team playoff. Texas A&M after Saturday’s thrashing of LSU is proof of why we need 12 teams.
Oh shoot, forgot A&M was not ranked.

I personally have been too 6 National Title Games. Bama won 4.
Until we have a real playoff system, unlike today where only undefeated or 1 loss teams can get in, college football titles will all be Mythical. And yes, that goes for all Bama titles.

I think we got closer with 4 in CFP, but agree. An expanded playoff may/may not produce a different champion, but we'll have more concensus.
