From the SEC's amended federal complaint against LSU. First sentence is stunning: "The consensus of the CEOs was and continues to be that LSU's continued membership in the conference would be inconsistent with the publicly stated values and principles of the conference ..."

LSU fans still refuse to comprehend this is not really about two players.
It is about LSU’s leadership telling the SEC they refuse to be governed by the SEC.

I have said this is personal.... right or wrong Stankey is butt hurt and wants LSU out or at the very least bend the knee. Not saying LSU doesn't have fault in this but this isn't about rules and not breaking them. This is just "I don't like you and I want you gone..." that in itself is problematic for a position to take from your leader. The real question is... Who's next?... if Sankey is left unchecked then who will be the next school that doesn't bend the knee and Sankey starts a crusade to expel them too. This will hurt LSU if they are expelled, but it will make every other school a potential target as well.
I guess we will see if cooler heads prevail.

I hope they do expel us. Then when they are begging us back from relief from the barrage of lawsuits, what will we demand in return? Sankey will be fired of course but what else?
