Shellnut on the other hand was unconcious.
One time he came into town here in Pensacola and we went over to Biloxi for the weekend to gamble. Seems like he'd been sick and the doctor had prescribed some powerful steroid that he was taking. The stuff made his appetite go wild, and he ate everything in sight. When we'd go to the restaurants he'd order 3 or 4 entrees with all the sides AND a couple of desserts, and eat it ALL...I've never seen anything like it.

You know the crazy bast**d played football @ UT. He had hands as big as a fruit basket. The top recruit in America was a huge black defensive tackle that played with him At Americus HS. This guy made one play @ UT running down some Notre Dame back about to score and he saved UT. He used to visit JP and tell me what a damn fool he was. The most popular guy on the team and J Majors even let him house sit when he went on vacation. He invited all the players over when Majors left then wrecked his Corvette. He is Billy Bob Thornton's best friend and a bit player in all his movies. What a piece of work. Don't know what he is doing but he is living in a High Rise and driving a new Range Rover so I kinda suspect.....
BTW he is pushing 350, maybe more now. A walking heart attack. But he is still running that mouth. Did I ever tell you when he threw a drink on the most famous wrestler of all time @ a joint. The guy who basically invented the shat talking with the long blond hair and would finish the WHOOOA yell. He was JP's hero and John tried to buy him a drink and the guy insulted him. JP sat at the bar then ordered a bloody mary walked over to his table and said here's your drink arse hole and threw it on him. The crowd there and the bouncers loved Shellnut and threw the wrestler out. He knows everybody. He was best friends with Farrah Faucett and Ryan O'Neal. They used to visit him in Houston and we would all go out. I danced slowwwwww with Farrah once and should have grabbed her by the pu**y and never washed my hand again. Ryan didn't give a shat as he was engrossed with the little traveling secretary I brought to the party. Shellnutt met her through Mr Faucett, her dad and a guy you would have loved. ONE MORE BAD arse TEXAS TWO STEPPING SON OF A GUN. That's about all my Shellnutt stories.

I love the assumption on your part.
But yes, I don't feel the need to overcompensate for my insecurities by driving a hot sports car or loaded pickup. And I've never had a huge note on any car I've owned. I live within my means and see no reason to buy way more vehicle than I actually need. My cars are both paid for.
That said, I get your point about Johnny Law along I-10 in SW Louisiana. Always wise to have a lawyer on standby. Also, don't speed in the first place and if you do then don't be shocked if you get pulled over.

I knew that he was a receiver at Tennessee and was tight with Ferrah and her old man, and I can damn sure see how/why he and B.B. Thornton would geehaw....I'd love to just sit back and listen to all that free-flowing bull shite!
