I'm sure you'll be back next season too, attaching yourself to the success of somebody else in your league, and talking shite like it was your team.

Weak comeback aggot. This thread isn't even for you, but here you all are. I saw the Wake Forest basketb.....I mean football contest. Focus on that.

I forgot how shitty of a runner Baker is despite him being advertised as 'highly mobile'. Dude couldn't escape a sack to save his life

What was funny was the mods picking up his mess very slowly. They banned him and left his porn up for a while
I was kind of surprised at that.

What comeback??? I'm using your logic to ask you a simple question.
Get that stick out of your arse. If you can't handle tRant, then get the frick out. This is an SEC board.

I tried to get this thread up this morning but the damn main page was still locked. I wasn't going to post it in the score forum.

I’ll give credit where credit is due. Your offense was a heck of a lot better than I expected. They came out with and excellent game plan.

Helluva game last night! Very impressed with Chubb and Michel and your Oline. The more complete team won this game and made the plays when it mattered most in nut cutting time. We were not the more complete team and it showed late in the game.
Again, Congrats. You have a fine squad.

I'll eat my crow when it's necessary. I don't have any shite to talk. Very impressed with your squad in all three phases of the game and the composure of the freshman QB was equally impressive. You deserve to play for that Natty.
Well I'll be a monkey's frickin' uncle...
frick it man... As I said elsewhere, it's the best game of football I've seen in a long time, at least involving Georgia. Nothing for OU players, staff, or fans to hang their head at...
I made a few of these comments in the game thread, but these were my observations:
Lincoln Riley is a really fricking good play caller AND designer... got a little puckered in the taint area last night when it got close, but you've got a good one there.
Rodney Anderson is better than I expected, and I had pretty high expectations. Sermon seemed good in limited play as well. I can see why we recruited him. Best of luck to both of those guys in the future.
That Tight End Andrews seemed to be just a massive human... Listed height and weight of 6'5" 250ish didn't really do him "justice"... maybe it was just the few times I caught him next to an undersized guy on our defense, but he looked like he dwarfed some dudes. Going to be curious if it seems the same way to me on replay.
Baker ... for all the jackassery... is as good as advertised. He makes quick decisions, is really accurate with the ball, and is an elusive little shite... although we didn't see your predicted bad angle/stiff arm to Roquan...
Lamb is a really talented kid... going to be interested to see him develop.
frick that reverse play that led to the Mayfield TD reception right in its arse...
The OU Defense actually played better than I expected at times... We weren't extremely successful on 3rd down or anything... it was just an inability to stop the big play that let you down... kind of what I'd pointed out about TCU's weakness... missed tackles and bad alignments kill you against good backs... Chubb and Michel had a really good night... the scoop and score off of Michel was impressive.
Stoops has gotta be gone as DC you'd think...
I think if you polled 100 UGA fans and said before the game, OU will have 48 points and over 500 yards of offense, 95% assume we lost that game... it was a wild frickin' ride and I am not sure I can take another one like that soon. Seems like Monday's more likely to be a "dicks in the dirt" style brawl, so it's probably going to be another stressful night it would seem, albeit a different kind of one.

Fair enough... also thought it was odd that it stayed locked so late.

Honest question, how disgusted are you guys with Lincoln Riley today?
Posted on 1/2/18 at 5:02 pm to RandySavage
There's some disappointment with how he called the game late, for sure. I didn't understand why he was trying to run stupid jet sweeps or option plays against those backers. Lateral pursuit is what they do and played to their strengths, not ours. Most of that is rookie coach stuff on the biggest stage. He'll learn from it. Nobody is worried about Riley, or anybody on the offensive staff at all.
The focus is on the contrast of performance between the offensive staff and the defensive staff, and that includes on the recruiting trail and on the field. One of these things is clearly not like the other, and everybody sees it.

Eh, a little, but in all honestly, we probably had some of our fans goading you on.

But, it's a lot easier to eat crow when it's a hard fought ball game and the more complete team won.
I appreciate what you are saying. And you're right. After we went ahead in the 3rd quarter, I think....then you guys came back and took the lead, I thought we might not have enough time. I was thinking I could live with a 7 point loss. It would be a good hard fought, close game. Both teams looked good.
quote:
Like I said, rooting for the dawgs this week! Let Michel and Chubb tote the rock.
Thanks for pulling for us. It's going to be tough. Nobody plays tough like an Alabama team with something on the line. When a game means something, they are close to impossible to beat.

You did the right thing. Once past game day, I rarely go to the Scoreboard.

He is, and his nuts definitely withered late. He'll learn from that.

Rodney would already be in the NFL if he didn't have back to back season ending injuries. He's a war horse. Sermon is a punisher already, even as a true freshman. He's going to be fun to watch.

Andrews is a moose. He came here as a WR, not a TE. He grew into a TE. We will miss him next year but his protege has a chance to be even better.

Baker is just a competitor. He's not really the dickweed people think he is.
quote:
Lamb is a really talented kid... going to be interested to see him develop.
He's just a baby. Needs to add some more good weight and strength and he'll be one of the great ones.
quote:
frick that reverse play that led to the Mayfield TD reception right in its arse... it was really slick. In real time I felt like I was living it in slow motion... bad camera angle and all I knew exactly wtf was about to happen.
That play put the backers in a bind. It was a no-win situation either way.

This defense is trash. There's talent everywhere but the leadership is very poor.

God I can only hope. He has another year on his contract (for some reason). If he's still here next year, the results will be the same.

That should be enough to win a football game. Now about that loser of a defensive coordinator that's still here......
