Johnny got rich last night. But what is more important is that Sumlin made the correct adjustments at half. The most important adjustment was an attitude adjustment of his defense.
I thought he was way overrated before last night, now Im not so sure.

Congrats again for a terrific comeback win and another bowl victory for your program.

Yea sometimes its about attitude and matchups on the field. Auburn is a different team right now so they should make it a game. Same goes to the A&M defense. They finally came back and finished a big game. Lots of youth on that side of the ball for them which means it could be hard to know how much they improve next year. They could have just had their balls drop so we might all get a surprize if they come back strong.

Why are you congratulating fans for a bowl win?

I'm going to go out on a limb and conclude that he knows we (students/Former Students) weren't on the field; rather, he was congratulating our team--and in the process, revealing that he's one of the few around these parts who doesn't have issues w self-esteem.

As an LSU fan, last night's game helped change my impression of Manziel. Not so much the on-field play (and I still think a lot of that won't work long-term in the NFL); but the way he was able to show some leadership when they were down.

I figured when they were getting toasted they might implode, and other players (Evans in particular) would tell him to frick off. Last nite at least, the team did rally around him. That's encouraging when you eval "flashy" players.
