Colin Cowherd discussed this and I agree. He said Bama having a guy like Saban would directly impact the surrounding programs that had success during Alabama's long stretch of coaching instability and poor performance. It is already happening. Auburn has become buried, Tenn is back to being a joke etc. Not all the teams can be good.

saban had no impact on auburn this quickly. maybe in a few more years but not yet

Yeah, losing three of the last four regular season games, then beating Georgia Tech and their 1920, Knute Rockne, single wing offense is a very impressive finish. "Damn strong"...right?

Losing one game to the eventual National Champion in the SECCG, and the other to a top three, and the only undefeated, team in the nation is better than losing 5 games and eeking by Troy.

2 different points here. 12-2 is better than 8-5.
I was merely pointing out that I enjoyed how LSU finished the season. Instead of ending the season on a 2 game losing streak, we have happy thoughts throughout the offseason.

Oh believe me, I'll have plenty of happy thoughts to get me through the offseason. The thought of how far we've come, and the potential in the near future, will keep me warm through those cold, football-less Saturdays. Not to mention the absolute glow that will emanate from every Bama fan whenever we think of beating Auburn and Tennessee.

Speaking of mediocre Im bitter we havent been to the BCSNC game yet! Surely one day before I leave this world UK will win at least ONE NC. Im ready to get passed just going to a bowl game I want to see UK in THE game!

Bama will be back to middle of the road next year with a 3 or 4 loss West division record, UT, Georgia, LSU and Ole Miss. When does Florida rotate on? If its next year then 4 or 5 conference loses. Rebuilding sucks.
