Yes , absolutely. If I’m gonna be critical, I have to also be willing to be congratulatory. What’s the harm in offering congratulations ?

They did what they needed to do in game 1 against weaker competition. Nobody is crowning them
And I don’t think it takes away from anybody else’s spotlight to be a good sport.

I cannot wait for the shock to the systems of both Oklahoma and Texas football programs competitively and their fans to life in the SEC and especially here on tRant.

I didn't "get it" until we finally got here. It has been a great ride so far.

The thing that they don’t realize is that in conference play, anybody can beat anybody excluding vandy

Ball State was a nice warm up for Pitt. We will beat Pitt by three plus touchdowns imo.

We did what we needed to. Got some reps and most importantly nobody got hurt.

Next week we beat future Big 12 champ KState

Please do not congratulate Ole Miss after they sodomize Troy and cover.

I don't take pride in beating cupcakes.

That was a real thrashing. Take away that super garbage time last second TD by La. Tech and its even worse.

I thought y'all would take a little longer to get on track. A nice solid win. K State, I think, is the most important game of the year for Missouri. Beat Kansas State and y'all have momentum on your side.

Didn't you suck in the Big 12 and then win your SEC division in your first year?

No and no

Won the North 3 times in the last few years and consistantly had good teams

It was year 2 that Mizzou won the East. That team was loaded and even gets cred on the Rant of all places.

It’s going to be a tough game. KState does not have the athletes we do but they have a solid team

you suck in the big 12 and may not win 3 games your first year.

Lets be real here...you wont beat OU which should be a rival, you wont beat Arkansas, nor will you beat AM. Those are 3 games you have to play every year so youre already at a disadvantage.

By the time you buy out of your contract, LSU will probably be a monster, Alabama and Georgia will still be monsters, Auburn may be back by then, Ole miss isnt going anywhere, Tennesssee looks like they might be ready to compete with Georgia...

so where do you get SEC wins?

You couldnt beat Kansas so why should you expect to beat Vandy? Kentucky? Miss St?

Who will you consistently beat in this conference?

We beat Arkansas 71% of the time and aggies 67% of the time. It doesn't get much more lopsided than that.
