Just gonna leave this out there. Last year LSU and FSU had two mutual opponents, Louisville and Ole Miss. Louisville ran a train on them and that game probably won Jackson the Heisman single handedly. We held him out of the endzone and made his life miserable. Ole Miss was up big at first and to FSU's credit they came back, but we broke school records when we played them. And then there's this season which I don't even really need to bring up.

Outside of having Winston what has Jimbo really done to strike fear in everyone? Aggie made a solid hire and got their guy. Respect to that. But I'm not gonna sit here and melt or think that suddenly the tide has turned until I see it play out on the field.

Looks like Alabama will switch their bye week before A&M now.

Jimbo is more of a proven commodity than O, that's for sure. As long as you guys are OK with how everything is playing out then it's not a big deal but in reality it has to sting a little bit.

LOL @ anyone who thinks this fan base would tolerate ANY HC who goes 5-6 after his starting QB goes down.

How exactly does this happen with a guy of Jimbo's reputation? Think he'll have an easier time in the SEC West?

I love it.

Sometimes being absolutely correct garners you many downvotes.

the term you are looking for is boat raced. Louisiville boat raced FSU to the tune of 63-20, 10 of FSU's points coming in garbage time.

Ran a train on them... implies something... shadier. Maybe more alluring, especially for an Aggy.

Oh no doubt, it was a great hire. I'm not trying to take away from it. Kudos to them for getting their guy, was the best hire they could make. And certainly after last year maybe it does sting a bit. But I don't really see a reason why after these past two years that he's suddenly going to take them to the promised land or be the next Saban or whatever.

When things go south for him they really go south, as evidenced this year. I'll give him credit for the Winston years but defense has been a crux for that dude the last two years, hell even when he had Winston that dude bailed him out many times in those 2 seasons.

I'm not gonna sit here and panic. A&M got their guy, it happened to be a guy we targeted and missed on in the past. Congrats to them. I'd rather see how things play out before I crown them for it though.

Cool.

Your program is going down the shitter. Saban is a shitty Xs and Os coach. That's why he sucked cock in the NFL.

Thanks for playing.

K, bye now.

Pretty much my exact take. Aggies got a great coach that LSU has targeted and missed. From a division rivalry perspective that stings a bit. The guys in Tiger rant losing their shite over this are idiots though. Until Jimbo proves he can build a winner at A&M and A&M proves they can insert themselves into division contention every year I’m not going to lose sleep over it. Not saying they can’t, just that acting like it’s a sure thing is foolish at this point in time. But congrats to Aggy for getting their man

As if last year didn't make me hate Alleva enough. It looks like Fisher was interested in LSU, but Joe didn't like his agent.

Jimbo is a good coach and ai would have loved him at LSU. O seems to have hired a good offensive coordinator and have let them do their job. Next season will let us know of O can improve.

The only coach I would be sad about going after and then having a rival get is Chris Petersen. That man know how to recruit and develop a QB and win with average players. I can only imagine what he could do with LSU.

Good luck aTm with Jimbo I hope you dont regret it in 3 years.
