South Carolina on the big stage is our cryptonite. It's frustrating.
Just like last year...beat a unrealistically dominant uconn then lose to usc. For some reason we don't match up well with them

Because we knocked off Goliath for them. Then were gassed from doing so. We'll see who gets farther this year. I like our chances.

We beat State 3 times last year. State beat UCONN. USC owns State.

It's one of those head scratchers. Yep we beat both Baylor and Uconn last year in our bracket which was unbelieveable. SC may have still had our number in the NT game but it didn't help us much the late game night before. That was a dumb starting time vs Uconn not to mention the OT making it longer.
The media frenzy was crazy and by the time our girls finished with media, ate and went to bed it was 3am. Had to be up at 7am. That was bs but you gotta dig deep for that. We had rubber legs early.

Staley out coached Vic today by bringing Aja off the bench the same time Tierra got her 2nd foul. Maybe this year UConn can wear out USC right before the title game like they did to State last year. If you beat UConn in the Final Four your legs will be so tired UConn will have beat you in the final. It's really an unfair advantage to whoever misses having to play them till the final game.

Last year we won in the regular season and in the SECT, but you’re right. MSU lost to us in the championship game because they were tired from beating UConn

Not trying to take anything away from your championship you won it fair and square last year on the court vs us. I just wish we hadn't had to play UConn 2 days prior. It was such a dramatic win for us there's just no way possible we weren't going to be somewhat flat after it. You'll know what I mean if you play and beat UConn this year.

You certainly are trying to dismiss SCARs title last year. You might have a leg to stand on if they hadnt played and lost to the Gamecocks 3 times.

It definitely worked to our advantage that y’all played uconn and were mentally and physically exhausted, but again - usc beat MSU 3 times, it wasn’t a fluke.
I’m glad y’all enjoyed beating uconn, I would have also, but I’d much rather have the hardware.
