Glad LSU lost today because of the chicken-shite decision to remove the starting pitcher after 1 pitch. Ashamed to be an LSU fan today represented by a coach who would pull a chicken-shite move like that. Glad it backfired.

I was very confused by that. What was the motive and what did he hope to accomplish?

I didn't get to see it. But, my guess is that by announcing a RHP, he was hoping to get Bianco to start a bunch of lefty hitters then bring in a LHP. I'm not a fan of coaching that way at all if that's what happened.

Not sure if the Rebs are about to make a run or if LSU just sucks again.

If that’s the case, then it backfired because Binaca doesn’t make line up changes to accommodate different situations.

Johnson said the plan was for Dutton to face Bench then leave the game. The coach had no information on the extent of Dugas’ injury.

“The way they were swinging the bat we needed every advantage we could get,” Johnson said of pulling Dutton. “I didn’t want them to know what we were going to do. But that didn’t work out.”

69-48 in his 1st 2 years. He took a team that was 27-25 (7-21 conference) to 40-19 (14-16) and a Regional in year 2. I would say that’s pretty good.

That cheesy move only got the Ole Miss Rebels focused and fired up. It came off as a little league move and in hind sight a poor coaching decision and hopefully he learned from this mistake.

definately coached a good series.
