I'll eat my crow. You guys have a helluva team and soundly beat Bama at home. Here's all the shite you accomplished:

Bama's home winning streak. Hadn't lost at home since 2012 to A&M.

Never winning back-to-back against Bama.

Another loss in Saban's supposed "revenge games". All that shite we talked about Saban's record in revenge games was for nothing. Ole Miss looked better prepare and was better physically than Bama up front.

Bama's winning streak for SEC openers stopped at 12.

23-straight consecutive conference openers stopped.

I'm sure there's a hell of a lot more, but it was painful enough. Congrats again on running a train on Bama on national tv nd good luck the rest of the year.

Too many turnovers for Bama... Fix that and you may win out. QB is questionable though. Ole miss looks good but will lose 2.

It's the first time Ole Miss has started 3-0 three seasons in a row since 70-72

Also I was most impressed with Alabama's(especially Coker) resilience even after the big plays and turnovers.

Lots of football to be played, our d is looking up but way too many turnovers and mental mistakes. Worried about UGA in two weeks. No "great" teams as we have come to expect this year I don't think, but lots of strong teams and it should be another exciting year. Maybe a couple teams can develop into the whole package and be great by the end of the year.

Congrats Rebels.... heck of a win....
I was reserving judgement until you played a quality opponent and you passed the test. Well done so far..... looks like you and LSU will be the SEC's best chances at the playoff so good luck!

Lord knows my Hogs suck Chewbaca butt once again....

Shut the frick up pussy. All we heard was how you were going to humble us and beat us down so you should've known what would happen afterwards.

I thought Coker responded well after being put on the sideline for the start. He had some bad throws, but made some good ones and showed his ability to tuck it and run.

Turnovers were awful. Drake still hasn't fixed his fumbling problem :bh:

I actually think Ole Miss fans, for the most part, have been reasonable in their post game responses. Some crowing, sure, but not overly obnoxious IMO.

I'll agree with this. A lot of our fans have gone overboard with this win. It was a huge win for us because we always seem to lose to Bama, especially in t-town. That being said, Bama was unsettled at qb and we got some good breaks. I'm looking forward to the rest of the year tho. If we get Tunsil back and can stay relatively healthy, this could finally be the year we make it to Atlanta. Still have to go through a lot of good SEC teams to get there. A&M looks legit, Auburn will improve, and State in Starkville has not been good to us in the past. Game I'm looking forward to the most is LSU. LF should be starting in the NFL and by the end of the season I have a feeling Kevin Toliver will be talked about as a future top 10 pick. Bama, I have no doubt y'all will put it all together and this will be the worst y'all looked all year. Good luck to y'all the rest of the season.

If you want to discuss the game then we can discuss it in a civil manner. If you want to complain about fans on the rant then expect non-civil discourse. Pretty simple.

It was an emotional roller coaster for everyone. The game last for four and a half hours for Christ's sake

It's the first win against an AP ranked top two team in the history of the poll. What did you expect to happen?

Ole Miss has a damn good team and I certainly don't want to take anything away from what they accomplished, however, if we had serviceable QB's then I feel that Bama wins that game. Think about it we had 5 fricking turnovers in that game and still had a damn good chance to win at the end.

That was painful to watch!!! I'm sorry but either Coker and Bateman both suck MAJOR arse or we've done a horrendous job at developing QB's. I think it's a combination of both.

With that said, congrats Ole Miss. You have a damn good team and certainly deserve the win.

The same could be said for our offensive line and not having black Moses there at LT. We would have run the ball more effectively and been able to keep our defense off the field. Coker played well down the stretch and showed that he's the guy even with the picks. He made huge plays all second half long.
