But a number of men's sports have declined. We used to know some of the male gymnasts by name (Kurt Thomas), men's volleyball (Karch Kiraly), etc. Now those sports are dead.

Arkansas had a couple of dud teams in the '60s... but from about 1960-1972... Arkansas was a top ten program. Three or four of those teams were among the national elite.

Grew up following those teams fairly closely since Oklahoma had fallen off some and Lighthorse Harry Jones was from the same town as my parents.

We know. We had an LSU fan earlier that DGAF when I posted records from 2020-2023 saying that was too short of a span.

I'll post one you like.

College football records over 2019 year span:

LSU-15-0

Everyone else not as good.

Go Tigahs!!!

How so? What does DeBoer need to do over the next three years? I never really hear any real answers here.

I think most Alabama fans, myself included, think it is realistic to be in the hunt every 3-5 years. Beat Auburn and UT more than they beat us. Make sure that the refs give us all the calls against LSU.
I'll be happy with that!

Give us back our 44 wins that were taken away thanks to Les Miles, and we'd be right there with you.

With Florida sucking for their entire history, with the exception of 1990-2008, the Aubs should be ashamed.

Auburn was playing 4 of the historical “Big 6” (Bama, UGA, Tenn, UF) every season as “traditional rivals” during 70 of those 100 years. (The only one we played on a rotational basis was LSU.)

No other “Big 6” team can say the same.

Nebraska still being so high is a testament to how insane they must have been for a while

seems hard to believe now... but they were a very good program from bout the 70's to the turn of the century . hell- in the mid 90's nebraska was damn near unbeatable..

imagine typing this and then looking at it and going, yes I'm going to post it, and then posting it and feeling like it wasn't the dumbest thing ever posted anywhere.

Tell me again you know nothing about dispensationalism. Everyone is a dispensationalist in some form or fashion if they are Christian.

No. Thank you for telling me you are a dispensationalist. Doesn't work for the majority of Christian theology and is a 19th century invention.

This is reasonable. But you were in the hunt certainly two of the last three and in the one season you weren't there at the end, were still there near the end of the season.

Many if not most Bama fans are saying they expect DeBoer to not be as good as Nick overall, but better than Nick the past three seasons. When asked specifically what they expect, the ones who will answer say they expect what they've done the last three seasons when you really look at it. The conundrum.
