Trev Albert’s might have floated this rumor so he gets more money in for our stadium renovations.
I doubt it. You guys had to fire a bunch of people making a 150K salary. The spigot's dry.

Neither Vitello nor Schloss are leaving for Texas.
Texas isn't coming into the SEC and taking any coach from the top half of the conference in any of the Big 3 sports short of those coaches being unhappy and ready to bail on their current situation as is.
It's far more likely your posts on this search get framed in a montage and mocked in somebodies signature avi to live on this board in perpetuity.

You call “well” never winning a single conference championship in any major sport?

You're fine dude. Carry on.

Or we can laugh at yall for even talking about schloss leaving. Cause it's fricking hilarious to watch
I don't expect Schloss to leave.. I believe most Texas grads/fans feel the same..
That being said.. look at it from our point of view.
You guys are having an incredible season.. your current coach has doubled your previous win total in Omaha in just 3 years (2 > 6)
Could you imagine how epic it would be to steal the only coach who had ever done anything at A&M?
The thought of the melt that would happen is pretty intoxicating.. I'm not gonna lie.. It wouldn't surpass the 2021 Texas to SEC melt, but it would be pretty damn close..
Is it possible? Yes, I think it is..
Is it likely? Definitely not, but it's fun to think about..

It's all good. I forget it's summer break so the kids are home online which explains a lot of the posters here today.

Actually they were making way more than that one, many of them and many jobs not needed. Smart AD.
And the easiest way to make money at A&M would be to float a rumor such as this one out there. It will come in pretty fast. Albert’s is not going to leave any stone unturned.
Good luck with your coaching search. I have a game to watch later.

Technically, yes... It's about as likely as me going home today and catching my wife in bed with three Playboy bunnies.
CDC is up to something and I can't wait to find out who it is.... Unless he throws a curveball and keeps pierce. Then we will be the ones melting down

Football has 2 top 5 finishes including Orange and Cotton bowl victories. No one expected that, particularly out of the West.
Is that the only major sport you're referring to?

So in your head, there is no possible reason why Schloss would ever leave College Station? None? Zero? Zilch?
Surely you don't believe that to be true.. because it's possible for every single coach in the country.. in every single sport.. shite happens.. money happens.. relationships fall apart..
Schloss just got a new AD. Maybe he isn't happy with the new guy. Maybe the facilities upgrades aren't progressing like he wants.. Maybe he just doesn't like College Station.. There are a million reasons a coach would leave..

He has someone locked up. Maybe he is waiting to make the announcement for some reason unbeknownst to me..
But it won't be Pierce.. I think he would roll with Tulo first..
