Being an English teacher, it really saddens me to see that I'm doing a shitty job teaching America how to read. Every time I get on this website, I feel the need to rewrite my entire curriculum because obviously reading comprehension needs an overhaul.

The food is horrible. And we only meet about once a quarter but I was specifically referring to your comment about a "nice meal". At least that's how the Huntsville chapter operates. But it is open bar so you can drink enough to make the food at the Huntsville County Club tolerable.
And it is hilarious to hear the nutjobs on ITAT talk about the clout of the REC. We barely make ends meet and have to practically beat the annual dues out of most members but we are somehow able to orchestrate elaborate pay-for-play schemes, bribe officials, and exercise control over every media agency in the country.

Not to mention the fact that there are so many different REC chapters, with so many members in each chapter and so many on waiting lists, that it would be impossible for a group that size to organize anything and keep it quiet.
