Not at all? I asked you to dispute my post being wrong or false.

By posting the question you did are you conceding that what I wrote was factual?

Factual that your compliance officer made a vague comment about his belief that it was over? Sure.

Now answer mine.

If it was really over, given how Chizik so desperately wants an announcement that it is over, to help with his recruiting, wouldn't he hold a press conference to make a big deal about it being all cleared up?

You really believe that the coaches are lying on the record? Basketball coaches? Come on...

No, he believes that Thamel has completely fabricated these quotes and inserted the names of SEC coaches in a pathetic attempt to gain credibility, and then write a story that has absolutely no truth to it. Because Thamel hates Auburn, and personally has it out for Chizik.

Chiz did not personally write a check to Cecil Newton, dumbass. For all we know, Chiz firmly believes in Auburn's innocence. Doesn't mean Auburn is innocent.

Dumbass? As I've said before, if we paid Cam 200k, we'd know about it by now.

you don't hide 200k from the media these days, especially not Cecil and Cam newton

That's a nice link to an article about your compliance officer doing his job. Kudos to him. But where in it is the official announcement that the investigation actually is now over, as you suggest?

Go read the article I just linked. At the end you get your answer.

You take lightly that a Compliance Director spoke about a case? He didn't say one word during the whole time till just recently.

LOL it's obvious you don't understand. By rules of the NCAA he would be in trouble for saying what he did in that interview. That is not doing his job were Cam still under investigation.

I understand perfectly. It is just that you are wanting to believe a generalized, offhand statement that he made in the article about not being able to talk about the investigation, which he made to cover for the fact that AU would say nothing, is a rule that means something entirely different.

Show me the NCAA rule that says he can't say what he just said in that article.

Edit* And I don't necessarily think anything is going to happen to AU. Possibly. But I get tired of all the AU fans claiming it is all over, nothing to see here, blah blah. Because it's not.

It's pretty simple to cover up cash payments if you aren't too brazen about it. SMU got caught because they were stupid enough to send stuff through the mail thinking they were untouchable. It's literally impossible to uncover hard evidence of a trashbag full of hundred dollar bills unless the NCAA sets up a sting operation or something.
