The stupidity is special in this thread.
Condoleeza Rice, a former Secretary of State who's apparently a big football fan can't understand the complexities of football?

I picture as one of the Paul Finebaum regular callers. Are you that fool Jim that spouts off about why Tiger Woods is sucking in golf right now?

Why aren't you bitching about Jeff Long, the chairman of the college football playoff selection committee, having never played a down of football in his lifetime?
Jeff Long played college football and actually lettered in football and baseball at Ohio Wesleyan, by the way. He actually started his entire career in athletics by being an assistant coach after he graduated.

No, I mean racists. I don't believe you have anything against women, just blacks.

How do you figure that?
She's trying to compare a soccer practice that they wore weighted vests to run in to FOOTBALL practice.
Give me a break
Hey, dirtbag, you ever march 30 miles in one day in 80-some degree heat, carrying between 35-40 pounds? When you fell out to puke, there was the matter of running to catch up.
You ever jump of a high dive in full combat gear and then have to swim 50 yards under a timer. If one did not make it, he did it again, and again, until he did.
So don't give me the physical bs. College football is also a cerebral game, which you probably can't comprehend. That is what makes it so special. "Slobberknocking" is rare now. It's finesse of sorts, and had been for many years. Are you from just north of Jasper?

Have you read any of my posts?
At what point in any of my posts have I mentioned anything that you could point to and say "that's racist"?

I don't understand why this Gump is all pissy with Condi. shite, she admits growing up a Bama fan…She is also mentioned all the time of being the NFL Commish if the job ever opens up.

What we have here is a prime case of someone whose glory days were in high school and he's just wanting to relive those days.
What about Mike Tranghese and Steve Wieberg. They're on the committee and didn't play football. Why are you rednecks singling out the female?

It's not totally unbelievable that a racist Alabama fan can be found.

I'd say the same thing about ANYBODY on the committee who never played.

Tus and I are engaged in a fight. He is no bigot nor racist. Just stupid. And that's bad.

Again, no idea how you're deducing racism out of any of this.
What does Condoleeza Rice not having a true understanding of football because she's never played the sport have to do with race?

Sure you would, you just have chosen not to up 'till this point.

Tus, act like you got some sense and just shut up.

The best part is she helped hire Ty Willingham when at Stanford. She also sat on the committee that hired Dennis Green.
But hey, she has as much football experience as former NFL commish Pete Rozelle (who played baseball and basketball instead) so she clearly can't make "football decisions".

Nope, and I'm not trying to pretend I "get it" either.

What does a person who's never looked at a an offense or defense from field level know about what goes into making decisions during a game time situation?

Defense has never been finesse, has it?

So how do you feel about the female kickers and punters on high school football teams? They've been out there. I'll bet you feel differently about them than you do about the guys.

You can study and watch all the film you want - until you've played the game you don't have a true understanding of it and have absolutely no authority to determine the outcome of games or championships.
By this logic every two-bit has-been who ever actually played football should have sufficient football knowledge to be on the committee.
You need bright, accomplished "big picture" people to make important decisions, not just prior athletes.

Let's see if you can figure this out. You haven't lambasted the white privilege men who haven't played football and are on the committee.
Simple enough?
