Beyonce and Jay Z, superstars, probably not if they can not even put butts in the upper deck. In the 70's man, even just decent bands could sell more seats than that.

mehh its columbia SC,

put them in a major city and the place is packed.

So just to be clear, Jay Z was in concert in Columbia and folks are discussing the grass on the field not the grass in the stands?

While they may sell higher per capita to the black community I am guessing more white people are buying the tickets because there are more of them.

Yeah I’m sure the state capital of South Carolina has no problem drawing large crowds for shows.

Chris Stapleton played in BR last fall.
Alan Jackson played at the Tuscaloosa Amp last spring.
I’m sure there’s others.

Who gives a shite about Beyoncé and jay z?

Are you honestly comparing Alan Jackson and whoever Chris Stapleton is to JayZ and Beyonce?

Tuscaloosa Ampitheatre has lots of good acts. It's a great setup.

Yes?

Chris Stapleton is a big name in country music. Grammys and other awards. Alan Jackson is one of the most well respected musicians of all time too.

I mean I’m sure most of the SEC prefers country music to ghetto r&b/rap. That’s just a guess though
