You're not wrong, but I think it's best that the melt threads go to the Arkansas board. That's all the front page is so one more won't hurt

True but Va Tech is a good opponent and Bud Foster is a fantastic DC. The pattern is more troubling than losing to this particular opponent.

It really is a shame. And I am not judging because apparently our administration has accepted the same mindset in their recent decisions.
I was looking forward to Arkansas moving ahead and becoming a respectable advisory in the west. I was interested in the "progress" Bert was showing by (slightly) getting better each year. But like the rest of the SEC west it was all a bunch of meh (if you take Bama out of the equation) this year.
Almost gotten to the point where I just DGAF and want whatever makes LSU look good to happen. Which is a sad state because less than two-three years ago I was drinking the SEC punch and rooting for everyone.

It's something that programs have to weigh when deciding to give coaches tens of millions in guaranteed money... where's the motivation to take that next step when being slightly above average throughout your career has gotten you 4 million a year?
