I know these kind of statistical comparisons aren’t an exact science but i wanted some perspective

Georgia (the team) rushed for 171 yds vs. Fla. Daniels had 238 yds

Georgia (the team) had 315 passing yds vs Fla. Daniels had 372 yds.

Kentucky (329 yds) is the only Fla opponent to rush for more yds than Daniels did. No opponent has thrown for more yards.

No, Fla is not the 1985 Bears but there have been way more cupcake games throughout the history of college football and yet nobody has ever put up the numbers so Daniels did.

So… you’re saying without saying that LSU is a metric shite ton better than UGA?

Daniel's threw the ball to himself? And ran the ball while also making all those blocks by himself?? Wow

He played well, but matchups and a litany of other variables make individual game performance vs a common opponent as useless as wins or margin of victory over common opponents.

JD5 played a game for the ages. Everyone knows he is the best offensive player in CFB. Why the frick does it matter what UGA did in comparison to UF?

Not with our Defense, absolutely not

But it does show JD’s dominance

No less than the OP, if we're being objective.

Georgia has the kind of defense that does not force the offense to put up stupid high stats to win.

Daniels has the LSU defense to thank if he wins the Heisman.

Well, our game was over by halftime so we didn’t need to keep putting up big numbers. Daniels had a great day, a historic day, but this is a stupid take.

Georgia was also without 2 nfl first round draft picks (bowers and mims) who are back and playing now.

Believe it or not, adding 2 nfl first round draft picks does good things for the offense.
We were able to work our backup QB against Ole Miss after 2 snaps into the 4th quarter.

my intent really had nothing to do with dissing Georgia.

I’ve read many comments that Daniels did all he did last night against a scrub defense.

I was trying to look at just how weak/strong the Fla defense was.

If Daniels puts up those number against Grambling i don’t respect it as much. If he had done the same against Bama it would have been epic. So, i was just trying to see how meaningful those numbers he put up were.

I get it’s a team sport. Yes, he has future pro receivers making those catches but he’s at least half the equation. He’s no Joe Burrow as a passer (duh).

We could talk a little more about his blockers enabling those runs. Often times his rushing yards come after the pocket breaks down.

On the 85 yard run he did get a good block from Nabors but he literally did the rest on his on. Put another in on the play he scored from 51 yards out and few wouid have that same run.

BS

He’s had to earn every yard because the defense never gives him a TO or short field

No he's saying that Daniels is by himself better than all of Georgia team.

I think he's proven it too.

Imagine struggling against this Florida team, forcing your offense to go all out for 60 minutes. You can thank your horrible defense for those high numbers.

So... he's basically Andre Ware.

Cool.
