LOL last year at the Ole Miss game some Black Bears were tailgating and when me and some friends walked by one of them yelled "Look Corndogs"!!!! I yelled back "Shut up you Chicken Nugget" they all looked at each other confused and I said now y'all know how you look.

And if you make a point about another team, you are "obsessed" with them. When in reality, you are trying to shine light on a point that is credible to the conversation.
This.
I think people forget that this is an actual Message Board where ideas and topics are supposed to be discussed.

that anything and everything that isn't glowing praise for a team is "trolling". It's probably what bothers me most about this board these days. Instead of good natured back and forth with both sides making points, the first time you say something not-positive about something you're trolling
Good point! I am also so tired of everyone retorting with "melt".

Posting something dumb and getting called dumb doesn't mean you "got" someone.
This seems to happen a lot lately.

Not sure if it fits exactly in this thread but I roll my eyes and disagree more often than not when someone pulls the 'you're better than that' line on someone else. In my experience, no they're not better than that 99% of the time.

Agreed, because we know that the majority of those being told that, really have never been better than that....

Saying an entire team is obsessed with something when in reality it's just a handful of posters on a message board and actually has nothing to do with the people playing the game.
Kind of along these lines, shite tier posters whose only form of rebuttals are attacking the logo next to a poster's name.

Not a retort, but the malapropism, "Getting un-tracked" kills me.
It's either getting on track, which is a good thing...
or
...getting off track, which is a bad thing.
Sorry, I didn't mean to derail the thread.

LOL, yeah, just a handful of folks come out of the woodwork to declare Gus the antichrist on a weekly basis. No obsession.
How about people that make hyperbolic straw man statements? This is a pretty good example, but a better one is a certain fanbase this offseason that started responding to any criticism of their team with "Oh, we should just cancel football since we're never going to win another game."

clownstomp
To utterly humiliate someone and insult him/her (calling him/her a clown) at the same time. This is a variation of the word curbstomp but is slightly more humorous.
Alternative definitions may say that the victim was humiliated so badly it is as if he was stomped on using clown shoes.
Ashlee Simpson got clownstomped by her band on SNL.

Let's not engage in name-calling.
