While I'm not surprised to see Auburn ranked ahead of LSU in the latest CFB Playoff rankings, is anyone else surprised at the distance between the two teams?

Here are all of the 4-loss teams in the latest rankings:

14. Auburn

20. Utah
21. LSU
22. Tennessee

25. Pittsburgh

Does anyone actually think Utah is a better team than LSU? Auburn should be the highest rated 4-loss team thanks to their head-to-head win over LSU. But LSU way back there at #21 behind teams like Western Michigan, Stanford, Navy, and Utah is a bit surprising to me. Anyone else surprised by this?

I think the committee had it right to put Auburn #14 and Florida right behind at #15. But LSU ought to be #16 since it is obviously very close to both of those teams.... losing on the final play to both of them.

I assume all of the others have 8 wins, unlike LSU.

The worst part is Florida is a 3 loss team playing for an SEC championship and still ranked behind AU. If you ask me since floridas regular season was better and AU doesn't have to play the extra game shouldn't UF be the sugar bowl favorites? But nah they're behind AU who dropped 1 spot after getting completely shite on. This committee sucks arse.

Auburn at 14 absolutely blows my mind. Like I cannot even fathom the rationale for it.

3 weeks ago they were ranked 9th. They then proceeded to lose to a BAD UGA team, beat a cupcake, and lose by 3 scores to alabama. And only fell 5 spots? Auburn has 4 losses but there's only 13 teams better than them?

It's inconceivable.

I don't mind LSU being ranked 21. They have 4 losses, no reason to complain. But auburn being ranked 14 is a joke. Loss to a bad UGA team, an unranked A&M team and a blowout loss to Alabama, along with another loss is not a top 15 resume

So does UF.... shouldn't you be mad that they're ranked ahead of you and you have 3 losses and have to play an extra game?

LSU doesn't have a good win on the schedule and is short one game. We don't belong in the Sugar Bowl.

Sadly the second year In a row Mother Nature and not playing a cupcake screws our season.

Must burn you up inside to know that Auburn has more national respect than Georgia does.

Did I say that? There's no use in crying. You haven't beaten anybody.

You brought up not having 8 wins. We would.... if we played that cupcake game.

Exactly I'm certainly not and never was in agreement with this committee BS, but LSU fans have no ground for claiming lack of respect. You earn on the field this year we did not. The loss to UF was inexcusable. 2 to 1 advantage in yardage and 5 trips in the red zone with only 10 points. That looks bad and it is. UF took advantage of the opportunities LSU gave them, and I have always thought the SEC runner up should get the Sugar Bowl automatically. To me it should be Florida going to the Sugar.
