Death, taxes, Old Sarge saying "poor kid" when he doesn't have a comeback after being proven dead wrong on a thread

Scottie Scheffler and the Texas fanbase have absolutely shattered you

37%—4 ints—4.7 yard per attempt

The fact the came was a 3 point game with 6 minutes left is absolutely wild with that QB play

How has rooting for the No. 1 football team in America and a golfer who just statistically finished the greatest year in PGA history "broken" me?

Why are you so terrified of me?

Such a stupid play call to use him on a designed QB run that early in the game. It’s not like he was an explosive runner or something

Here's the bottom line and honest truth:

At that time in his college career Colt was reading defenses like they were a 3rd grade level textbook. He was also the most accurate passer in CFB and had a couple receivers who rarely failed to catch anything in their general zip code on the rare occasion the pass was a little off.

If Colt hadn't gone out we would have built up a 2-3 score lead since our defense was holding up pretty well early. Saban wouldn't have had the luxury of staying with ground and pound with Ingram down a couple scores with a running clock.

All that said, shite happens in games and Bama won it fair and square, and that day was the beginning of a long run of gumps dominating CFB most years for about 15 years. If's and but's mean nothing, time to move on.

For your sake, y’all gotta drop this we might’ve won nonsense. Just take the L like a grownup and acknowledge that keeping up this charade makes you look soft as hell.

The entire world knew Bama was running the ball the entire second half and y’all couldn’t stop it.

Edit - you seem to get it

Colt actually was pretty fast as a straight line runner, but you're right about the play call. It was dumb considering he was the one player Texas could not afford to lose, and Texas never gave backup qbs any real experience under Mack Brown.

If he was reading defenses so well, why didn't he see the speed sweep was going to be covered causing him to keep the ball and get slammed?

While Colt got hurt, your offensive and defensive lines did not. And they got dominated the entire game. Your defense was dominated by a one dimensional offense that ran the ball over 40 times and had 2 RBS break 100 yards, and the Alabama defense was in your backfield constantly wrecking havoc.

None of that had anything to do with Colt. Games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage.

Garret Gilbert was 15-40 for 186 yards and 4 interceptions. It was 24-21 game with 8 minutes left in game. It would have been different game minus all the turnovers and incompletions. We will never know how it would have turned out, however Bama running game and Turnovers was difference in game.

Been in the SEC for 10 min and y'all whining about 15 yrs ago.

I might be misremembered because it’s been 15 years but I always thought of him as more quick than fast. Great QB. Hung around for a long time in NFL as well
