This CWS is going to be top notch shite. Just look at the games before the games people will follow. Aggy may have a ton of support from 4 other fan bases in the stands. Same w Arky. Playing Stanford with Auburn and Rebel fans watching in wait.

I read on TA that driving thru 35 in OK the road is loaded with Aggies. I am so jealous.

I was going this year come hell or high water, but getting COVID changed the plans. I have still never been.

Just go for even a couple of days if you can. YOLO. Take a tent and camp at a KOA if you have to.

I’m excited as well. I am going to fly up mid week to catch some of the action with our little leaguer. Will go to the games on the schedule, regardless of who is playing.

Catching an A&M game up there would be an added bonus.

Thinking about putting some $ down with the BIL on A&M for fun. You think they have a shot?

My wife and I are baseball fans in general and always talked about going to Omaha. Didn't have a dog in the fight but decided to go anyway. We drove up last year from B'ham.

We got to see Monday nights game NC State beating Vandy (I caught a foul ball which was cool), then both games on Tues. (TX beating TN and MS State beating VA), and one more on Wed (Vandy vs Stanford).

It was an awesome experience. We were gonna go again this year but she has some work obligations that won't allow it.

Our daughter graduated from Auburn and if they make the finals, we'll probably go.

The field is wide open.

The implied probability for each:
Stanford 20%
tu 20%
Arky 15.4%
ND 15.4%
OM 13.3%
Aub 12.5%
OU 11.8%
A&M 11.1%

If you said they all had an equal shot then they'd each by 12.5%. If you believe A&M, OU, or Aub have a better-than-average shot, then they might be worth putting money on.

Why A&M has going for it, it doesn't rely on the long ball. With the wind usually blowing in and the field playing large, A&M isn't be negatively affected as some. A&M has gap power, draws walks, and can run a little bit. Plus we're used to playing on a natural surface in the heat. We have a coach who's been here 5x before and some vet transfers who have some experience. While A&M has been at home all postseason, we've played well on the road. Since conference play started A&M is 12-7 away from home. One last point, A&M puts extra focus on the mental side. You can see it in the breathing techniques and routines our guys have.

That was the case for, but there are reasons to not love A&M. The defense could rear its head in any game. Our starters are nothing special. Dettmer has had 3 really terrible starts in a row. Dallas has been much better, but he had struggles early on. Preager is not a great #3. The offense has been pretty damn good since conference play started, but we only scored 9 runs in the super. 3-4-5 in our lineup really struggled.

Ole Miss is the hottest team left. I'll go with them.

been watching and listening to a good bit of CWS previews. Theres a lot of glad to see you hear Auburn but you have no chance to win it.

Maybe a better term would be Ole Miss "has raised their level of play" more than the other teams have since the playoffs started. They are just now hitting their peak. This might be the most competitive CWS in memory. No one seems to stand out over the rest, and there's no one who doesn't have a legit chance at winning it all. Just my take. Can't wait to tune in.

Agreed. And I think Ole Miss has been hot for a while. They were hot at the end of conference play.
