This is the one time running in a straight line doesn’t matter. You must run in the runners lane to be considered protected, not part way basically the whole way. But you can exit the lane to touch first. But they key phrase is exit, you can’t exit something you were never in.

frick yeah! But wasn’t the run before the interference? Everything after the interference I think should be overturned, but why was the run overturned before the interference?
