Make that 3. I’m willing to bet that’s the first time this year we got the first 2 on and then struck out the side. Kids having himself a day. I was certain Ole Miss/Arky winner was going to win it all. But if OU starting pitchers pitch like this the rest of the CWS they have a great shot.

Sandlin’s breaking ball isn’t that sharp. Batters are just missing on some pitches that should be hit. But he’s mixing his pitch selection well and has the A&M hitters off balance. I’d be shocked if he gets through the lineup another time. We’ll see.

Need to crowd the plate. The ump is calling everything within a foot or two of the plate on the outside a strike.

Not sure how many times it’s going to take to realize umps strike zone is bigger than the plate. Swing the damn bats on the outside corner. FFS.

You were saying? Three up three down. To be fair, I'd be surprised if he makes it to the 7th without trouble, but he is on fire.
