Typically yes. Although this year they didn't play at home at all in the postseason which makes you think this team doesn't rely on that

You would be nuts not to recruit players that played to your advantage at home. But once league play starts, you only play half of your games at home. They have won 40+ games for 40 years straight. I think many years they got to Omaha, they were clearly the best team there. Not sure if it's Martin that chokes, over thinks, panics; call it what you want. But, Ameritrade plays large. Rosenblatt was a launching pad. Pretty sure they deserved to be there when they made it. Mojo is a huge monkey on the back after you lose a bunch.

He has carried teams to Omaha of every shape, size, design, pitching,hitting, small ball, you name it. He has carried all world pitchers, hitters fielders. For whatever reason, just never has come up with the Ring. You would think that the law of averages would have fell on FSU once. It hasn’t. I have lived it since 1975.

Yeah we had a pretty good dry stretch but nothing like you guys. Sucks, but very nice when it ends.

I don't know. Probably 6 of the final 8 who make the CWS have a realistic chance to win it all. It's all about the breaks, and pitching depth. It takes breaks to stay in the winners bracket, and pitching depth to come out of the losers bracket. For years FSU played in a weak conference, and their weaknesses were exposed in the CWS, because if you have any weaknesses, you can be assured it will be exposed there. It's still amazing to me that they have been there so many times and only been in the finals once or twice. Clemson is another school with the same luck as FSU when it comes to winning in Omaha.

Don’t give a shite about Martin, but I always liked Charlie and was a big fan of his. And I liked their hats. So if State can’t pull out the miracle, I’m with FSU.
Charlie Ward is one of my all time favorite athletes

Martin is like Ron Polk . Given his whole life to the sport and university. Just would like to see guys like that go out on a high note

You just teed off on him for no reason. He was just agreeing and adding info to your post. Basically, "Yeah, Clemson has historically had a torrid time in Omaha. They haven't even managed to get to the Finals."
