I’ll say it again, college baseball is glorified high school, all-star baseball with some minor league (possibly one day - for a very select few - major league players after more seasoning) sprinkled in.

You’ll never convince me that this is as good as college basketball or football.

Waaaay too many mistakes are made.

Well yeah, the really good 18-22 year olds are in the minors or majors. But to your point, these are routine grounders and throws these kids are missing.

The CWS has sucked balls since the move downtown, even with some close games, and Gm 3s of Finals..boring!!

Had a conversation with an Omaha local when I was there that went pretty much like that. Lots of folks there think they screwed the pooch just because they wanted to make a pretty picture with downtown in the background.

I never went to rosenblatt so I dont know the difference, but the simple fact of it being stuck in Omaha another 45 years is pretty lame.

I can’t disagree with that.

But LSU has put many players in MLB.

It’s also a very fun sport when your team makes it to a Super Regional and the the CWS.

Everybody loves college baseball when their team is in the CWS.

Its a huge win to even make it this far with this team and the banged up staff we have had.

Pretty much. Im thrilled Auburn is in it, and loved watching em there, but Im more excited watching the Braves tonight than I was today about us playing. Of course I want us to win, but college ball, is just not that entertaining....and I follow the team and go to a couple games a year. Its just not close to basketball or football.

Anyone get a shot at some of the Auburn players in the dugout cheering? They could be yell leaders at A&M!

Yep. Let the record show that Butch has this program ahead of schedule. I never expected a CWS appearance this soon. Bright days ahead, Auburn

Well, he isn't wrong, though. Obviously you would like to go far in the series with a shot at winning it. But it's an accomplishment to get there. You did better than us, and we expected to go.

Should we not be glad to be at the CWS?

You absolutely should be... you should be upset that your 2B has decided to make errors...
