The problem with Wisconsin is that their losses may be "good losses" but they have zero significant wins. The lost to the only two good teams on the schedule.

(And Ohio State is in the same category, just without the two losses because they have played NOBODY.)

Wisconsin's only losses to Iowa (should have won)and Alabama. Don't think they have had a particularly tough schedule but I agree they should be higher. They have yet to regain respect after their first game.

I expect Oklahoma to be the OSU of this year. If they keep winning watch the committee work their magic to get them a spot.

You think so? You think that if ND and the other 3 win out that OU would jump ND?

No, you're right, ND would have to be out of the equation. But if one of the four stumble, watch the jump Okie makes.

That I agree with you. They want ND in the playoffs and just can't see them being dropped down for anyone.

No way, if ND wins out they would have beaten BOTH teams playing in the PAC championship game

I agree but to the committee this will be way more significant than OU beating OSU, Baylor, and TCU

Flakes. But it is certainly hard to judge between those two scenarios.

The problem with Wisconsin is they are one-dimensional. Well, at least that was the case at the beginning of the season. Their running game was non-existent versus Bama and their QB was about as accurate as a blind guy trying to parallel park in Manhattan. Outside of the Bama game, their defense keeps them in most games, and has won them some of the games. But they are a poor man's Bama in the sense that their QB never has to make plays to win games. And the two games they needed him to make plays, he couldn't do it.

1) Ohio State
2) Clemson
3) Bama
4) UF

That would be my top four with okie state, Oklahoma, ND and Iowa looking in, in that order

Assuming everything stays the same, over UF?

UF will be #6 or so going into championship weekend.

LSU will be 9th or 10th, if they win out.

LSU beat Florida. Florida has been to the Sugar Bowl more recently. Florida doesn't travel very well. I understand that the committee places the teams for the NY6 Bowls, but they certainly work with the bowls in their decision-making.

LSU would very likely go above Florida. And even if they don't (or if Florida wins the SECCG and Alabama goes Sugar), LSU would still be in line for one of the other NY6 bowls.

LSU has to win out.

The problem with Wisconsin is that they were decimated with injuries on offense. 3 starting linemen out for season. Starting tight end who was a good pass catching tight end has been out almost the hole year. The second best wr out and the most important thing the only two legitimate rb have hardly played

They have a converted db and a fricking linebacker at rb

Of they had some of these players they would be a better team. They sure as hell would have beaten Iowa.

I would think that it would have to be very close game for them to go over LSU.

We all have to win out, that's not a given for anyone at this point.
