The only correct answer is win the NCAA tourney, tho getting to a Final Four is respectable. The rest of it is just balm for a chapped a$$ for not winning it all.
I think until Rick, UK only hung Natty banners, then they stated hanging Final Fours. Always could tell the lame basketball schools across the USA when the hung NCAA appearance banners, NIT banners, or conference banners.

IMO, the main goal is to reach the dance, either of the other two will make that happen but aren’t necessary if business is taken care of during the season.
Final fours are cool, but natty is the what I want to achieve. All else is just a good season.

No NCAA tourney berths under Buzz yet. It’s very frustrating. I don’t think making the dance is too much to ask for. Buzz fields very competitive teams, he just needs to get over the hump and seal the deal in close games. Last year, we got 95% of the way there. This year we are currently projected in the first 4 out already.

Whatever Tennessee does, the opposite of that is most important. This can change year to year depending on how we do.
