Congrats MS schools. You all should take pride in that and the fact your schools value their programs.

Mizzou 2025 season attendance = 33,469...slightly above the average per game attendance for the STL Cards.

Very impressive. Not sure why Auburn and Alabama can’t seem to draw bigger crowds.

Auburn 10th in the SEC… 11th in the nation. Sounds about right.

Also amazing to me how many small southern schools have a relatively strong baseball culture.

Southern Miss ranks 12th, ECU 16th, and Louisiana 23rd in average attendance while a program like Georgia comes in at #36.

Capacity at Plainsman Park is 6,300. Average attendance was 85% of capacity. I bet a lot of SEC games were packed out, while earlier out of conference games were not. Who really wants to go to a miserably cold game against a nobody in February? Yet those type games will drag down average attendance a bunch. The only way Auburn will increase attendance is to enlarge the stadium. Then those sold out SEC games will boost average attendance.

Alabama and Auburn are both top twenty nationally in total attendance and average attendance.

Ole Miss and Miss St also on the lower end of SEC student body size. It really is incredible how well their games are attended. I used to love going to Auburn baseball as a student but they really weren't well attended. That was 15-20 years ago.

Today the tickets aren't easy to get for the better SEC games. If Auburn expanded which isn't easy they could very easily improve those number dramatically.

Because we both treat it as a party and get wasted in the outfield. Students love that.

Some of my fondest memories as a student were spending all day in the old left field lounge with a sack of crawfish, deer sausage on the grill and cooler full of cold beer
