Watch & listen to this 4-min commentary of his on FSU/UGA. He's dead-on right!

I listened to the first 30 seconds.

He said the quiet part out loud.
FSU isn't a part of the playoffs because of TV ratings.

That's kind of the infuriating part. Mickey Mousing the playoffs by the media as some sort of honest conversation about the top 4 teams when it has never ever been about the top 4 teams. It's always about the money.

No one gives a frick about 29 straight wins. Only thing that counts for this season is 12-1 and couldn't win the conference.

And frick Vegas odds being the barometer for his argument. 2 of the 5 conference games were won by the underdog.

I posted this immediately after the “selection”. Anyone with a brain knows this was all about money.

P.S. College football is a terrible product.

It's weird that there is a correlation between money and good football. It's almost like viewers would rather watch a good game than a bad one. Very interesting.

That’s why it’s so important to take the subjectivity out of the game. The 12 team playoffs can’t arrive fast enough.

I remember when he claimed Gus Malzahn was going to own Nick Saban.

I agree with him. Although I think it’s unfortunate for FSU because they did win all of their games. But Georgia is one of the 4 best teams. Probably one of the 3 best teams. Not much difference between Bama, Texas, and UGA. Washington and Michigan are second tier

I disagree.

I don't watch other teams until bowl season (and everyone on here bitches about how crappy those matchups are).

Bama fans watch Bama.
Michigan fans watch Michigan.

Bama has the widest sidewalks in this hemisphere.
Michigan has the largest alumni base in this hemisphere.

It has nothing to do with "viewers watching a good game" and everything to do with who watches weeks 1-12 and pitting them against one another.
