Winning the SEC West in year 1, having a Heisman QB in year 2, all while having very good recruiting classes is a better start than Napier could have dreamed. LSU 2025 class is setting up to be special and 2026 is loaded for in state talent. We can pretend like Brian Kelly doesn't have LSU trending in the right direction but it's just false hope. LSU was at rock bottom. We came off of a NC and went 11-12 over the next 2 years and 8-10 in the SEC. Coach O neglected his job and left us with major roster issues. Kelly has cleaned up most of the mess rather quickly and finally has the right defensive staff.

So you start out by bragging about the kind of accomplishment I've only seen Ole Miss hang a banner for.

Then back it up with how you wasted a Heisman QB.

And for a cherry on top: "LSU was at rock bottom. We came off of a NC ".

I know this is the rant, but Freeze has the most job security of anyone in the SEC. He has the 4th ranked recruiting class, and the big donors love him. Any list with him on it show that person has no clue what they are talking about.

This. Freeze has probably three more years minimum.

The three teams in the SEC that have the most first year players in their 2-deeps are UF, USCe and AU. Freeze is a year behind Billy and Beamer in the rebuild, but has almost caught them in young players in the two deep. All three of these teams will be much tougher next year, assuming UF stays the course.

WRT to Kiffen, he loses more of his two-deep (28 players) than anyone else in the SEC by far this year. Next year will be bad for OM, portal or not. All those portal guys will be first year starters, and there are NO Tfr coming up on the depth chart.

After all the NIL he got the alums to come up with and no payback in W's he may well be interested in the UF job.

Arkansas fans seem happier than they've been in years. Although I have no doubt they'd throw Pittman out the door to make Petrino HC

Only because of the Tennessee game. A large portion of the fan base was ready to fire him after more close losses to A&M and Oklahoma State (plus looking pretty bad against UAB). If we flame out to end the season (5-7 or 6-6) it’ll get pretty toxic again.

If Pittman can't go 6-6 then he deserves to be fired.

I doubt that. I don’t think he’s going anywhere anytime soon but an Auburn coach’s seat is always a little warm and I would venture to guess there are several SEC coaches whose job is more secure

Probably wishing he was offered the Alabama job right now.

Has there even been a faster or harder fall for a coach from the penthouse to the outhouse?

Dude turned down Alabama and was a cvnt hair from the playoff last year.

Amazing.

Oh yeah, I fully expect Arkansas to fire him if Arkansas loses a few more.

No one who makes the list ever really gets off the list until they get fired.

Arkansas isn't going to fire a coach that goes 8-4.

Why is Clark Lea on the list? That man is going to get a bonus at the end of the season.
