Besides all of the championships won by Saban coached teams, take a look at the head coaches in the current top four :

Kirby Smart - Bama Def Coordinator 2015
Nick Saban - Head Coach 2015
Mel Tucker - Secondary Coach 2015
Mario Cristobal - Offensive Line Coach 2015

That's pretty amazing, in my opinion.

Sure is. All 4 teams in the top 4 are either coach Saban or off his tree. Good get.

That truly was team "run the damn football" behind a power OL and a beast of a RB. Although they did have a good passing game balance to go along with it.

His best accomplishment was:

1) winning his first National Championship
2) realizing he's not an NFL coach and walking away... without dragging it out.

1. Pretty good Ole Miss team
2. FIVE Alabama Turnovers
3. Balls bouncing off Ole Miss players helmets and going for 70 yard TDs and shite like that
4. Started Cooper Bateman instead of Coker

Which in hindsight lit a fire under Coker and led directly to a national championship.

Played a terrible game and they still only lost by a few points.

Lane Kiffin's idea. He wanted his kind of QB but found out he was going to have to win with a game manager -- not what he wanted.

To be fair, Cooper turned out to be a total pussy on running the RPO offense Lane wanted.

Not sure they realized this until Ole Miss game.

Coker wasn't thought to be super effective at this style initially, but he turned out to be an absolute HOSS when he used his legs to sustain drives.

3)winning his second natty at a different school
4)sustaining the success for as long as he has

actually, I wouldn't even argue with you because, since Alabama already had such a long history of championship footall it was much easier to retool at UA than creating a title contender at LSU, which since integration was the 6th ranked team in the SEC, with zero titles from the whitebread 1950s till his arrival there.

Amazing how good teams attract fans. You don't have to worry about bandwagon fans at Tennessee.
