I don't think that has the ability to go long distance since it seemed to me like LSU tried to chicken out but eventually had to play the game anyway.

I never understood this take by Bammers. If LSU really would've wanted to "chicken" out, they could've just kept claiming Covid until the season was over.

That's just some made up bullshite. There were a dozen teams each week having to postpone and it happened multiple times in the SEC before that. Only one fanbase freaked out. There isn't a team in the conference that's scared to play any other team in the conference. That's just ridiculous. It was ridiculous when people said it about Florida not coming to BR in 2016.

I mean the game wasn't rescheduled for weeks later, but ok.

Coach O said before the season started that most of the players already had it.

So I think it has some merit. Especially when it was pretty easy to fudge 1 direction or another if you wanted to with the contact tracing claims.

Contact tracing was the problem, not players actually having it.

And they could've just kept doing it till the season ended. You admitted yourself that it would've been easy.

Fixed for accuracy.

Why would you do it until the season ended? I don't understand why you need to do it for the entire month to avoid 1 game.

If LSU really wanted to duck Alabama they could've just kept pretending to have Covid issues until the game couldn't be rescheduled.

It doesn't matter if they had it over the summer. After 90 days the players are subject to contact tracing. We went through this during the season. You didn't understand the rules then either.

Orgeon even said that most got it in June or July.
