Phil Fulmer had a comparable run.

First 100 games

83-17

1 National Championship
2 SEC Championships
3 major bowl appearances
5 top ten finishes
5-3 bowl record
5 ten or more win seasons (with 12 game schedule)

Why did Tennessee get rid of him again?

You've got to give credit where credit is due. Miles is a heck of a coach. He has developed NFL talent and keeps his team in the title hunt just about every year. I fricking hate losing a game to LSU but its ok bc miles always fields good teams.

Because they had a losing season and loved them some Lane Kiffin.

They have been humbled since then.

I think his next seven are better. Beginning next year he will have all his recruited players lol no excuses why he keeps winning like "saban players bullcrap". I think he can get 2-3 championships if he can stay here and recruit like he has. If he can get steady good qb's here more importantly.

Meh

There are a lot worse things. Fulmer will go down as one of the SEC's best coaches. It is really hard to last 17 years in this conference.

I'll pump it back up. Not enough hot air from Mr. Congeniality.

He actually won 80% from 1992 to 2004. He had 21 losses his last 4 years (2005 - 2008)...so time to go.

Not really. Does LSU look like they are on a downswing?

I should have just said the 07 NC run, and that's only because they were Sabans players. He is a good coach no doubt, I have just seen Les have to many wtf games to be considered great. ex. Ole Miss in 09

Pretty damn impressive, although if you take out last year and the NC run in 07 its not nearly as impressive (still good though)

Uh, why the frick would you take those out?

Maybe it's like the BCS computers but you take out the the top 2 and the bottom 2.
Would that mean Les only has a 39-7 record.

But seriously great run by him here.

Yea. Only a few OOC losses. Very impressive. You may want to edit your thread title to 'first 100 games' though.

In fact, Penn St. is the only one I can think of. Who else?

Yes, PSU is only OOC loss... phenomenal.

That's pretty amazing considering we have played some tough teams. Several BCS league conference champs.
I still think we beat PSU too if we aren't on that horrible field

So would you take away Saban's 09 nc with Shula's players?

Meh, I've decided not to get into the Dinardo/Saban/Miles recruits and who did what with who anymore. Just a slight step back and look at the bigger picture. LSU is the constant. All those HC's and players wore/wear purple&gold, and that's the fact.
