Sadly, you don't have to be 18. A 16 year old guy with a nude picture of his 15 year old girlfriend can be charged with possession of child pornography and forced to register as a sex offender. They consider the possessor an adult, and the individual in the picture a child. It has actually happened several times.

Nah, not high school. It was my first or second year at AU.
Luckily, Stanky Legg Jr wasn't alone in the pics... so it didn't look I was just hanging out taking pictures of my boy.

Apparently she didn't know they were taken, and her dad beat they guys arse. I don't know much about the story though.
