I'm new on the scene, and this topic might have been discussed before. If so, could someone explain to me how/why the SEC Network does not comply with the ADA regarding CC assistance for the hearing impaired. My hearing is very poor and I cannot enjoy the audio commentary on the various shows. I do watch broadcast of the SEC sports, but am not able to hear the commentary.......t

Call Pawl, or have someone call him if you can not. email the websites. I am not trolling you. Paul has always had a soft spot in his heart for people with disabilities(challenged) folks. If you can get in touch with him he might just say something about it on air. If you are not deaf yourself I suggest calling him yourself and bringing it up.

Hmm, that's a good question honestly.

I'm weird- I can hear but I still like closed captioning, it drives some people near and dear to me crazy tho. Ha.

I just submitted a little contact us form to them about it.

I don't think I've ever watched anything on Netflix (that has tons of dialogue anyways) without CC.

I don't know if it's my tv or ears or what, but the music and action are SOOOO LOUD AND THE DIALOGUE Is way quieter and it's dumb

My son and I were discussing one day that the CC person typing out the translation for a Coach O interview has arguably the hardest job on the planet.

That's another big reason to have CC.

Do you want to transcribe what he says then?

Same here on Netflix, etc. Needless to say, if you watch anything with accents it's a life saver. Personally the only time I turn it off is during ballgames (and that's sometimes).

Would be funny if Coach O had captions while no one else speaking did.

Pretty sure i saw coach O interviewed when he was at USC on ESPN after a win and it kept saying [inaudible speech] for the entire interview.
