Fans over react especially early in the season. SEC fans, ACC fans and fans all across the country, not every fan but many.Bama's number 1 ranking means nothings. Well it means the coaches and press don;t really know who is number one and they give it to Saban by default. Only the committee matters, the ap and coaches is just to give us something to talk about. The fact is that sometimes 18-24 year old men slack off in preparing for a game. Is it because they keep reading about how good they are on the internet and in the media? Probably, and it happens to almost all number 1 teams. It is natural for young man to get over confident in that environment. My point is that as soon as Clemson lights somebody up, it will be forgotten. Because of their schedule, they might not be number 1 by the committee because of their criteria, but who gives a shite when 4 is all need?

I don't think Clemson players slacked off in practice.
UNC is a competitive team with a good QB and WRs and good coaches. They could easily be 5-0 right now.

i don't how any sincere person could hvae watched that game and say that UNC quarterback was no good and their defense was getting good pressure on Lawrence.
If UNC was in the SEC ya'll guys would be swooning over them. lol

You are 100% correct. These polls don’t matter. As long as you are in the 4 you have a shot and these polls don’t determine it. As far as the coaches poll I would bet Saban and Dabo and the others are filling them out. Maybe a couple spots. My money is some GA or administrative guy is doing that. Saban, Dabo, Kirby etc.. are worried about the next game not who is 17-21

Their QB has a chance to be really good. He played well in that game and the South Carolina game

I thought it was a beautiful win.
Trevor threw some of the best passes I've seen him make.
Close wins are the best wins in my view.
Winning close games in basketball is what makes UNC and Duke so good....they don't always blow teams out.

Did you watch the game. Yes it was good to get the win but what four or five false starts by the OL alone. Pass protection not good at times. Didn’t have right personal on field after official review.
Always good to win but sloppy. Good thing is correctable mistakes. Learn from them and move on
