Bama nearly lost at home to Lane Kiffin’s Tennessee in 2009 before going on to a NC. Only a last second Mount Cody FG block saved the season. Bama didn’t even score a touchdown. Won with 4 FGs. Sometimes a close call is a wake up call. Clemson is still good. My money would be on them being there at the end.

If you will look at Dabo's record, he has a very sucessful record of finishing close games...That's not luck, that's good players with good coaching..

I remember in 2012 against a top 10 LSU team when Clemson was down and had to complete a 2 minute drill that included a 4th and 16 play to Deandre "Nuk" Hopkins of the Houston Texans that led to a game winning FG..

This isn't new to Clemson sport.

I never bet on or predict games (one of my superstistions), but based on the results of last years game and the games each team has played so far, I think it's going to be more competitive that Clemson fans think it will be.

They are struggling against the shitty ACC teams. For UNC, this was a win for them.

ACC teams don't celebrate moral victories. That's reserved for the bottom feeders of the SEC.

I’ve seen Clemson win that game when they weren’t the better team and vice versa. I think Clemson has more talent but it’s hard to go undefeated and beat your rival that many times in a row. Just never know in that game

Would Clemson go undefeated in the SEC? No

Would Alabama, LSU, Georgia or Auburn run the table in the ACC? 99.9% yes

Hopefully, the ACC gets better in the future to give Clemson something to worry about. I am still not sold on Alabama, Clemson or Ohio State until they play a legitimate ranked team. Lots of football left to play, so we will see what happens in January.

As long as Clemson wasn't on the schedule...they are in the ACC

Sec has a losing record to the Acc in the five years since the playoffs begin. We have beat you'll more than y'all have beat us. Think about that for a second. We have beat you'll more than y'all have beat us in the playoff era. Think about that for another second. You might not be as good as you think you are.

This doesn’t mean what you think it means. Dunno why you try to use you’ll and y’all in the same sentence to mean the same thing, but your ilk continues to surprise me.

The program has aways like the underdog role and this will be a better place for them for a while.
Y'all need to change that shite. Clemson is top dog right now, act like it.

Screw that underdog mentality and a fan base that perpetuates it constantly, it breeds weakness and the fans will then settle for mediocrity instead of demanding excellence.

It’s like some of you don’t even watch football.

Clemson has more close games in the ACC than Alabama has in the SEC.

We lost to Pitt in 2016 and went on to smash the Big 10 champ and beat the SEC champ for title.

Almost lost to Syracuse last year....outscored Notre Dame and Alabama 74-19 in the playoffs.

The facts do not support this theory that the SEC is brutal and Clemson has a cakewalk.

Truth is UNC's program is on the rise and Mack has our boys believing again. 2-3 record with three losses to undefeated teams (I'm aware Wake and App. St. are no juggernauts). Played the #3 toughest schedule in the country so far with one of the youngest teams out there.

I'm looking forward to Auburn in Atlanta next year. Two tough and talented young QBs going head to head. We'll still be developing depth but return most everyone except interior DL. Hoping we pull in a grad transfer or two there.

They had an epic battle with Syracuse last year and still waxed that arse 44-16 in the national title game.

Yes, the facts do, dumbass.

You're worse than the far left proggies with your skewed perspective of reality.

When Clemson plays an Auburn/LSU/Alabama equivalent during the regular season without a month off to prepare, or a Georgia equivalent in the A She She championship game, let us know.

Frickin sheep humping sister banger. One day that tiny little peen of yours is going to fall off while up inside a poor ewe somewhere.

That was close bro, and I was pulling for your guys glad they pulled it out. The truth in 3 weeks it will be forgotten and the only thing that will matter is if Clemson is undefeated. I want to meet you guys again for round 5. 2 games a piece is the playoff score. We settle this in January.
