Clemson might not be good enough for the playoffs, who have they beaten? That is the question that needs to be asked, Ala, LSU, OU, and Ohio St all look better, and all play ranked teams. Clemson does not , the Aggies are terrible and not a quality opponent. And teams in Clemson’s conference are horrendous. It’s the gospel truth, Clemson doesn’t belong!

This was fine when trying to determine who played in randomly assorted bowls. Now, with the playoffs? It is an outdated opinion.
If a team is playing better and winning against better teams, you don't leave someone above them just because of what happened in the previous year. I can see no feasible argument for, say, leaving Clemson above LSU.

Just like Bama, Clemson has earned the benefit of a doubt with CFP playoff committee. They have a championship pedigree. You may not like it, but it's fact.
They are just bored, but will turn it on come the playoffs. And their defense is MILES better than LSU's
