SC had to steal Florida's ex coach to become good but it still took OBC 5 years to put out a decent squadron.
Reality is SC's success is kind of built on empty calories, who they really beat last 3 years in the regular season? It's really only Clemson (4) and UGA (3) and 2 wins over FL when they were horrible. If you consider they went 1-3 against Arkansas, that kind of negates the their run against Georgia, or Clemson.

I only see a Post Reply at the bottom, not one for specific posts. This is all so confusing.
I think ACC is actually the best conference with traditional powers FSU, Miami, Va Tech, Clemson and solid programs like G Tech, NC State, and now adding Lousville, Syracuse. It's not our fualt Miami and Va Tech and some others are in a dark place right now, but if you haven't noticed, a lot of the traditional top programs are in a dark place. USC, Texas, LSU, Tenn, Michigan, etc

Watkins grew up a Clemson fan. He never dreamed Clemson would recruit him out of Florida. True story.
